I’m currently in the middle of my cutting cycle (week 5) and while fat is definitely going down, I’ve noticed I’m holding on to more water than expected. Especially around the lower abs and face — I’m starting to look puffy even though my diet is clean and sodium is controlled. I’m running Test Prop + Anavar, and I’m not taking anything crazy in terms of calories or carbs. Anyone dealt with this before? What did you do to manage water retention effectively?

Yeah man, I had a very similar issue when I ran Test Prop + Winny last summer. Diet was tight, cardio was daily, but my face still looked like a balloon by week 4. In my case, it turned out I was aromatizing more than I thought, and I had to tweak my AI dose (I was using Arimidex). You might want to get your E2 checked — even with “dry” compounds like Anavar, Test will still aromatize and cause bloating. Another thing: don’t underestimate stress and poor sleep, they can really spike cortisol and cause subcutaneous water. I switched to a lower-carb meal plan with more potassium-rich foods and added dandelion root for a bit. That helped. Also, I’ve ordered Arimidex and Letro from click here — solid selection and delivery was surprisingly fast. Way better than rolling the dice with random UGLs. Worth checking out if you suspect it’s estrogen-related.
