I’ve been reading a lot about Japan car auctions lately and how people manage to get great deals on vehicles that are in amazing condition. It sounds almost too good to be true sometimes. From what I understand, you can find everything from regular sedans to high-end sports cars, all straight from Japan’s used car market.
I’m really tempted to try it out, but I’m also a bit nervous about the process especially with bidding, translations, and trusting inspection reports. Has anyone here actually bought a car directly from a Japan car auction? How was your experience with the paperwork, shipping, and overall condition of the car when it arrived?
Also curious if there are any reliable platforms or agents people would recommend (or avoid). I’d love to hear some firsthand stories before I decide to take the plunge. Thanks in advance!
