Hey everyone,

I’m planning to build a padel court and want to avoid guesswork on the dimensions. I understand it’s smaller than a tennis court, but the precise length, width, and wall heights are confusing. How high should the glass walls be, and is there a standard net height?

Are there official markings or recommended clearances around the court? I’ve found conflicting info online, so I’d love insights from someone who knows the tournament-approved specs. Diagrams, official sources, or personal experience would be amazing.

Curious to see how professionals set it up!

A standard padel court is 20 meters long and 10 meters wide. The back glass walls are usually 3 meters high, and the side walls are 3 meters high for the first 2 meters, tapering to 2 meters at the ends. Read more about court setup and safety guidelines: the net height is 88 cm at the center and 92 cm at the posts. The court has a service line 3 meters from the net, and markings are similar to tennis. It’s recommended to have at least 2 meters of clearance around the court for safety. These measurements follow the International Padel Federation (FIP) tournament standards.
