Things blew up at home a few days ago and my first instinct was to numb out like I used to. I didn’t relapse, but I came way too close and it shook my confidence. I realize I need better tools before the next emotional storm hits. What relapsing prevention strategies would you suggest for moments like that?

Man, I’ve been there — standing in my kitchen at 2am, hands shaking, debating with myself. What saved me wasn’t willpower, it was having ONE specific person I could text without explanation.
