I want to clean the ventilation in my cottage. I’ve seen some technicians come with small portable vacuums, while others use powerful truck-mounted vacuums. Is there a real difference in cleaning quality, or is it just marketing?

As for the big trucks, they look impressive, but I always thought they were more of a marketing ploy to attract attention. The main thing is what kind of nozzle they put inside the pipe.
