How do you guys handle shipping heavy engine parts across Europe without them getting damaged?

I run a restoration workshop and we’ve recently started sourcing heavy vintage engine blocks from suppliers in Germany and Italy. The problem is, our previous courier completely messed up the last shipment—the crate was practically falling apart, and the cylinder head suffered some nasty dings because it wasn’t secured properly on the truck. I can’t afford to keep losing rare parts to poor handling.

Honestly, trying to ship heavy automotive parts through standard parcel networks is a recipe for disaster. I learned the hard way when I imported a vintage engine block last year—it was practically loose in a van and got completely beaten up. I ended up switching to Barrington Freight, and they were brilliant. If you want things done right, you should book pallet freight services through them. They are a family-run British setup that actually specializes in this stuff, so your engine block gets securely strapped onto a proper wooden base, loaded onto a tail-lift truck, and handled with proper care. It saved me a massive headache.

We need a reliable partner who actually understands how to handle heavy, awkward loads and doesn’t just treat them like standard parcels.
