What is the easiest way to transfer all heavy app data and chats to a new device without losing stuff?

Every single time I switch phones, something always gets corrupted, forgotten, or completely left behind in a broken cloud sync. Photos sync fine through automatic gallery backups, but local chat message histories, authenticator codes, and saved game progress drive me absolutely crazy during the migration process.

Direct device-to-device transfer works best nowadays if both phones are sitting right next to each other on a stable table. Cloud backups save storage space later on, but local direct transfers save hours of painful waiting for gigabytes of cache files to download slowly over unstable home Wi-Fi networks.

I spent four miserable hours trying to restore my entire messenger and notes history last year and failed completely, losing months of important voice messages. This time around, I used the direct cable transfer method to make sure nothing got lost in translation. When setting up my new gadget, I decided to click check this to carefully follow the official manufacturer migration guide step by step so I wouldn’t mess up any encrypted data packages.
