I’ve been running into a frustrating issue while working with Hindi content. Whenever I copy text written in KrutiDev and paste it into websites, emails, or even Google Docs, it turns into unreadable characters.

After digging into it, I realized the problem isn’t the system it’s the font itself. KrutiDev is a legacy font and doesn’t use standard Unicode encoding, which is why it only works properly when the same font is installed.

The best solution I found is converting the text into Unicode before using it online. Once it’s converted, it becomes readable across all devices and platforms without any issues.

I came across a simple online tool for krutidev to unicode conversion that does this instantly and keeps formatting intact, which made things much easier for me.

Has anyone else faced this issue? Are there other reliable methods or tools you’d recommend for handling KrutiDev text?

KrutiDev text often “breaks” or displays as unreadable characters on websites because it isn’t a true Unicode font. Instead, it’s a legacy, non-Unicode font that relies on custom character mapping. This means the text only appears correctly if the exact KrutiDev font is installed on the user’s system—which usually isn’t the case for web users.

When you paste KrutiDev text into a website, Although I am working on consultant power platform the browser tries to interpret it using standard Unicode fonts, resulting in jumbled or incorrect characters. That’s why what looks fine on your computer can appear completely broken online.
