I recently noticed how often people talk about trying to view private Instagram profiles, and it made me think about where the line actually is, sometimes it starts with something harmless, like checking an old classmate, a new coworker, or someone your friend mentioned, but once a profile is private, it feels like that person has already made a clear choice about who gets access, I can understand the curiosity, especially when social media makes everyone feel so visible, yet it still feels uncomfortable to push past someone’s privacy, I’m wondering how others see this, Is it better to simply send a follow request and leave it there, or do people think there are normal situations where curiosity makes sense?
