It seems like every salon I’ve been to reuses nail files, drill bits, and nippers. Some open the sterilization bag for certain tools but then reuse the used files or polishing blocks for other steps.

I’ve visited several salons in Los Altos, and both received excellent reviews praising the cleanliness, but I was still disappointed when I went in person.

I’m looking for a salon that truly adheres to hygiene and sanitary standards. I need a place to get gel polish, nail art, and gel pedicures.

I’m willing to work anywhere in the South Bay area. I’m willing to pay for quality service, although a reasonable price is always appreciated.

For me, hygiene is paramount in such services. It’s better to pay a little more and be confident that everything is disposable or properly sterilized than to worry about it after the procedure. Unfortunately, reviews aren’t always helpful. People often write about “clean and good,” but in reality, the nuances are only revealed when you actually come in person.
