That makes total sense. A move in ready house means no surprises, no waiting, no construction headaches. But what if you already own a place or you are building from scratch and you just want the same peace of mind before you even start? Like is there a way to catch all the potential construction issues before they become actual problems on site so you do not end up dealing with delays and cost overruns halfway through the build?

Yeah there is definitely a way. I was in the same boat, worried about surprises before starting a build. A friend sent me this article https://www.fields-builds.com/blog/cutting-costs-avoiding-delays-constructability-reviews and it completely changed how I approach projects. Basically you hire someone to review all the drawings and specs before you break ground. They catch conflicts between the architect and engineers, stuff like ductwork running through beams or wrong foundation details. Saved me from a ton of headaches and extra costs. Now I treat it like buying a move in ready house but for the planning phase.
