Just got my Astera AX3 and I’m having trouble with the CRMX wireless link — it keeps dropping connection during use and sometimes won’t pair at all. Also the battery doesn’t seem to last as long as expected. Anyone else run into this? Looking for tips on what to check.

I had the same wireless drop and battery issues with my AX3. Make sure you do a full factory reset first, then carefully check the CRMX pairing steps and antenna position. Also update to the latest firmware. The full instructions are in the manual here: https://en.manual.ly/astera/astera-ax3/manual After that my units have been rock solid .

Yeah, I’ve seen similar behavior on a couple of units. Double-checking the firmware and keeping the receiver area clear usually helps. Good luck getting it sorted.

The microwave in my wall oven combo made me nervous when it refused to start unless I pushed the door in just the right way. Sometimes it would accept the command, sometimes it would act like the door was open. I did not want to keep forcing the door or bypassing anything, because door interlock parts exist for safety. I looked up the number and found the Whirlpool interlock switch on Appliance Parts 4 All. The part I ordered was W11033422, the Whirlpool interlock switch for the microwave door safety system. I liked that the listing showed it as a genuine Whirlpool part and gave the manufacturer number clearly. Before ordering, I made sure the problem was not just food debris around the door edge or a loose trim piece. When the part arrived, I treated the repair carefully and disconnected power completely before opening anything. I took photos of the wiring and switch position because I wanted the new part installed exactly as the old one had been. After replacement, the microwave recognized the closed door normally and started without that awkward extra push. It felt safer and more dependable.
