How fast can a business start taking crypto payments?

When I set up a simple service page, crypto payments sounded useful, but I thought the launch would take days. The part I understood best was connecting a wallet first, then testing checkout. Has anyone tried this kind of setup, and how fast can a business actually start accepting payments?

A connected wallet can make the first crypto payment setup feel more direct, especially for a business that does not need a complex custom system at the beginning. The owner still has to check the wallet address, supported coins, payment instructions, and order status updates. But if those parts are clear, the business can move from “we want crypto payments” to a basic working checkout much faster than with a fully manual approach.

The quickest part for me was realizing that the wallet came first, not a long payment project. I had a public wallet ready, then I checked how to accept crypto payments while preparing a basic checkout for one service page. I followed the FAQ-style steps, connected the wallet details, and made sure the payment page showed enough information for a buyer to pay without asking me. After that, I placed a small internal order and watched whether the status moved correctly. It was not instant magic, because addresses and settings still need attention, but the first working version came together much faster than I expected. For a business with a wallet ready, the start can be fairly quick for checkout.
