Wanted to make sure ShelbyWin Casino is properly licensed for UK players before depositing any real money there. Rather than just trusting a badge on the homepage, was thinking about searching the operator name directly on an official licensing register instead. Anyone here done that kind of search themselves and confirmed it’s genuinely licensed for the UK?

Did exactly that a while back, searched the operator name on the register directly. Typed the company name into the official UK Gambling Commission public register search rather than trusting anything on the homepage itself, and it came back with an active license tied to that exact operator. License number matched what was listed on the site too, gave a bit more confidence knowing both sources agreed. Played on https://shelbywin.uk/ for a while afterward feeling a lot more comfortable about depositing real money. Register also showed the license had been active for a decent stretch already, not something newly issued right before I looked. Took maybe five minutes to search and compare everything, worth the small effort. Would recommend doing the same search for any new site before committing money

Cross referencing a casino’s name against the official UK Gambling Commission public register is a more reliable way to confirm licensing than trusting a badge image alone, since anyone can technically place a logo on a homepage. The register also shows how long a license has been active, useful context beyond just a yes or no answer. Only takes a few minutes and removes any guesswork about whether a site is genuinely regulated
